It’s Friday everyone! And boy, do I have news for you?! I first came across these guys running Street Feast on Twitter and later saw it while I was walking around in Shoreditch/Dalston area and being a massive food fan, I couldn’t help checking them out. Being a fan of food markets and having seen almost all of them, I wanted to know more about them and could not wait to share this amazing Street Food community with all my followers and beyond!
Having checked out their website, I know these guys mean serious food business! There is something for everyone. For people with special dietary needs like Halal food to vegetarian and gluten free. Don’t be shy and check this place out because you won’t be disappointed! The friendly social team of Street Feast (shout out to Emily and Rebecca!) sent me the following press release which pretty much sums up everything you need to know about the latest foodie heaven.
Following last year’s success at Haggerston’s Merchant Yard, Street Feast is back with a new location, setting up their Street Food community in Dalston Yard for nine weeks over the summer (having launched July 19th), meaning you can try out this Nomadic Street Food Circus every Friday and Saturday until September 14th.
Some of the capitals tastiest food stalls will set up camp in Dalston every Friday and Saturday until 14th September, creating a hub of great food and drink including Breddos Taccos’ famous Jose Cuervo Chilliback shot, Baba G¹s spiced tandoori lamb and Vinn Goute¹s octopus curry and parrot fish cakes.
As well as top street food traders, this year will also feature the East London Brunch Club every Saturday morning featuring a Bloody Mary Buffet, fresh juice smoothies from Smooth Operator (made with fruit and veg sourced that morning from Ridley Road market) and coffee from Giddy Up.
Drinks lovers will be spoilt for choice with the Gin Store, offering a choice of over 30 Gins, as well as wine expert Ruth Spivey’s Street Vin,where you’ll be able to pick up top quality wines from a full list of interesting producers, we recommend the Magnum of the Week!
Look out for more updates on what’s going on at Street Feast @StreetfeastLDN.
A Mezzanine area will be available for private hire (think Keg parties and BBQs), as well as a program of top chefs and restaurants popping up in the Yard to bring together top quality food with a relaxed Street Feast atmosphere.
Street Feast will be running every Friday & Saturday until 14th September!
