I have to say- one of the best things about being a food blogger is the amount of small businesses/ food start ups you come across but also some well established brands you wouldn’t have thought of trying!
If I end up loving their products then I’m more than happy to give them free advertisement because everyone deserves a little love ❤️ I also believe in spreading goodwill and hope one day it will come back and find me too 🙏🏼
1. Birchall Tea ☕️
An East African brand over 140 years old. The inspiration came from the founder’s love for tea. An ex- Military man combined with the British Empire’s involvement in the Indian Sub-Continent meant that his love for chai ☕️ was destined to turn into a brand that is still going strong. Also I don’t have the explain the love affair British people seem to have with tea.
Nor will I ever understand why my mother reaches for her first of 4 cups of tea first thing in the morning. 👀
I went to their tea tasting event a couple of years back and took home some samples. Subsequently I was sent some more samples. Admittedly I’m not a big tea drinker but I do LOVE green tea.
I have to say, this tea has seen me through the cold ass winter months and boy! I can taste the difference. I may not be a tea expert but with green tea- I sure am 🤓
So a well deserved and well over due shout out to this brand because even their Earl Grey is a favourite in my 🏡 -hold 😁
Winter ❄️ is making its way here and here’s to more evenings cosied up on my sofa with a steaming cup of green tea in my hand 💆🏻
You can shop for their teas through this link.
2. The Polish Bakery 🥖🍞🥐
I’m not one to say no to carbs. Carbs = ❤️ so when the Polish Bakery got in touch saying they wanted to send me some samples to try and offer my honest opinion, I was like hell yeah! 🙋🏻 oh haiiiii!
Everyone in the office glanced at me enviously while I carried these bags of goodies to my desk. All smug 😏 because why not! 🤷🏻♀️

Peaking through the catalogue, I was salivating and thinking of all the items I could order because I’m a fatty 🙃
The super kind lady at the Polish Bakery, Justyna, sent me a selection of breads and one of the most deliciously distinct cheesecakes I’ve had to date.
I got their Chia Seed bread and their Ryebread with Prunes. HOOOOOOMAIGAAAD! I kid you not- that bread was gone in a week.
I seriously hoard my food! I’m a slow eater and tend to find it difficult to finish off full packs of breads. Not these babies- I KO’d them. Easy!
They were my saviours everyday that week for breakfast. I even had friends over for breakfast and I served up this bread with the 🍳.
Coming onto their delicious cheesecake- it was a mix between a sponge cake and a cheesecake. It was perfection! I’m not a fan of cheesecake but I devoured a whole slice of this cake.

It was seriously epic! And I cannot wait to order more of their bread 🍞

3. Osko & Butler 🍫🍬🍭
Growing up, I was a candy monster. My mother literally had to pry sweets out of my hands and I’d be like…
Now I can eat to my heart’s and tummy’s content and I know my mum can only tell me off via 📱 muhahah
Anyway, a dear friend introduced me to this cool dessert delivery subscription service. Lucky I don’t have a sweet tooth or I’d be bankrupt AND game over!
They very kindly sent me a sample VIP dessert box to try.
Needless to say, it was finished in a day! ONE DAY 😂 sometimes I cannot believe what a fatty I am. Obviously I did share the box with my friends so I’m not going to take full responsibility for this.
The box is pretty awesome as you’ll see from the videos I made. Check them out and if you fancy satisfying your sweet tooth (you should 😈) then you get a 25% off DISCOUNT OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER using the code FOODDIARIES (includes shipping to U.K. mainland) this offer is valid till the end of this month (August, in case you’re wondering 😆)
