St. JOHN Bread and Wine, Spitalfields

St John Bread and Wine, London Liverpool Street

St. JOHN is a part of British food heritage. A force to be reckoned with in the food industry. Now split across three locations including the bakery in Neal’s Yard, they all have their distinct personality and offerings. They also own a winery and wine company.

What started off as a bakery opposite Spitalfields soon turned into a restaurant offering a short menu and wine. The owners are not just revered restauranteurs but also acclaimed food writers (Nose to Tail Eating, Beyond Nose to Tail).

St. JOHN Smithfield got their Michelin star in 2009 and they still retain it to this day.

You can read more about St. JOHN’s fascinating story and history here.

We were a large group but thankfully we could order off the A la Carte menu which worked perfectly for all of us. Every single dish was exceptional, even the side dishes. Can you please do me a favour and definitely order their dessert? You can’t leave without eating their desserts.

Menu that changes regularly based on the produce, guarantees that your taste buds get an exciting treat every time you visit. Its also perfect if you’re looking for classic plates of British food. GO GO GO!!! ???
